Who is Melissa (Thompson) Madsen RMT?

After 16 years of working in a retail setting Melissa felt something was missing. She left Starbucks as a Store Manager in 2002 to attend the Canadian Therapeutic College of Massage Therapy in Burlington, Ontario.

After graduation in 2004, she spent the 2004-2005 winter-season working at Spa Struck locations at several resorts in Beaver Creek Lodge in Avon CO and Manor Vail in Vail CO. She enjoyed working in a spa setting, and added hot stone massage her portfolio. Returning to Ontario, She wanted to continue the spa so she briefly worked for a company called Visible Changes in Burlington.
She rented a room in Carson Chiropractic Office, December 2005, working a long side of Dr. Kevin Carson, sharing her passion for massage, building a strong clientele and becoming an active member of the community.

Melissa Thompson was married in 2010 and took her husband's last name; Melissa Madsen. She felt that it was important for her clients to find her, she kept her business name "Melissa TsuLin Thompson RMT".

Melissa is currently registered through the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO), a member of Registered Massage Therapist Association of Ontario (RMTAO), Vice President of the Executive Referrals Chapter of Business Networks International of Canada (BNI) and on her spare time she cycles with a local cycling group called “Team Peloton”.
